Filter by missing art?

Hi all,

Firstly, I have to praise everyone involved in Forge. I haven't played Magic since the late 90s, and it has been a blast re-discovering it.

I have a question about artwork. Between the torrents and Mega folders, I have just about everything in high quality, but I know I'm missing some stuff, and I would like to fill in the blanks using Scryfall. Is there a way within Forge to filter down to all cards that are missing artwork?

Thanks!

Hi,

yea, there are two approaches:

First, check out the built-in auditor, go to "Game Settings" > "Content Downloaders" > "Audit card and image data".

This will result in a list of missing pics and still unimplemented cards, which you can copy/paste into a txt-file for later use.

Second approach, which is better to weed out those last few missing pics:
Replace your "no_card.jpg" in "Forge/res/defaults" with this one:

| Open
no_card.jpg
no_card.jpg (9.12 KiB) Viewed 1061 times

Then zoom out of the card pool, you'll have absolutely no difficulty to spot missing pics, unless you have difficulties seeing rgb 0,255,0  ;)

Have fun getting those last spots filled! :D

Awesome, thanks for the tips, that should help a lot!

I have a horrible case of completionistism. My eyes are falling out from downloading reprints all day, but it will be worth it in the end :)
