by kittysoman2013 » 25 May 2020, 13:11
Hello there,
i'm having problems with forwarding the port 36743, my friends cannot enter my lobby.
Does anyone have any advice on how to resolve this?
thank you in advance!

Hi,
check the infos and links in this short overview:
https://www.slightlymagic.net/wiki/Forge_New_User_Guide#Network_Play
As for why you can't get Forge port to forward correctly, I can only advise to either ask a friend (you can trust) who knows routers to help you out OR keep trying to change settings and keep hitting canyouseeme.org (backup your routers config first!).
Your Forge needs to be in lobby mode, hosting and listening for canyouseeme/the port forward to function properly
I'm afraid you'll be hard pressed to find a helpful stranger willing to remote accessing your routers web interface to sort your ports for you.
Or at least I hope so.. (Beware the scummers...)
Fingers crossed!
