Cannot Update Forge

Cannot Update Forge

I am having troubles in updating Forge.
When I check for updates Forge tells me that there's an update available (version 1.6.35 versus my current 1.6.34), I then tell it to update now and click on "Start" for the download/extraction of the new version to begin.
After a few seconds where it says downloading, the dialog window says "0 Download the new version...extracted" and I can just acknowledge it with "Ok", which closes the dialog window and no update actually happens.
Am I missing something? How can I update Forge to the latest version?
