Minecraft Forge 1.12.2 Issues with Mac

I downloaded it the same way i did for 1.8.9 and 1.16.1, and those both work fine, so I'm not sure if this is a Mac-specific issue. When I try to open forge 1.12.2, it'll show that Minecraft has launched in the dock, but I can't actually see the window. I end up having to force quit Minecraft with task manager. Does anyone know why this is happening?

You need to try something else

The problem is in Mac itself. It's hard to load normally the newest game versions there. You need to wait for a patch or fix.
