Get in the discord if you aren't yet.
Card support has been extended up to "Modern Horizons 2", including the available previews from the upcoming "Dungeons and Dragons: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms".
Collector Number has been added to all cards in the Catalog.
[Desktop] Card Catalog now adds the Cards' Collector Number as a sortable column.
[Desktop] Improved support for Custom Editions: now custom editions appear with their own names within other official editions, and can be selected in Set filters.
Net decks have been expanded and there are now tons of new decks in constructed, commander, brawl, oathbreaker and tiny leaders.
Complete support to game mechanics for all cards in Modern format.
Improvements to Italian translation.
Various other improvements to game mechanics and AI: please check the Git log for details if interested.

As always, this release of Forge features an assortment of bug fixes and improvements based on user feedback during the previous release run.

The Forge archive includes a MANUAL.txt file and we ask that you spend a few minutes reading this file as it contains some information that may prove useful. We do tend to update this file at times and you should quickly read this file and look for new information for each and every new release. Thank you.

The archive format used for the Forge distribution is ".tar.bz2". There are utilities for Windows, Mac OS and the various *nix's that can be used to extract/decompress these ".tar.bz2" archives. We recommend that you extract/decompress the Forge archive into a new and unused folder.

Some people use the Windows application 7zip. This utility can be found at http://www.7-zip.org/download.html. Mac users can double click on the archive and the application Archive Utility will launch and extract the archive. Mac users do not need to download a separate utility.

Once the Forge archive has been decompressed you should then be able to launch Forge by using the included launcher. Launching Forge by double clicking on the forge jar file in the past caused a java heap space error. Forge's memory requirements have increased over time and the launchers increase the java heap space available to Forge. Currently you can launch Forge by double clicking on the forge jar file without a java heap space error but this is likely to change as we add in more sounds, icons, etc.

- The Mac OS application version -
We provide separate macOS builds of desktop and mobile (backported) Forge packaged as native Mac applications. Please check the relevant thread for details and download links.


- Online Multiplayer -
For local network play you should only need two systems running Forge. One to host and one to join and play. For remote (over the Internet) play you will need to ensure that the port used (36743 by default) is forwarded to the hosting machine.

Thanks for the update! Forge is awesome!

I think Tavern Scoundrel should be flagged as a card the AI cannot play well:

Combine Chrysalis is incorrectly giving flying to all tokens, even the opponent's.

Dearly Departed adds +1/+1 counters to each Human creature entering the battlefield when it's in the battlefield itself, instead of when it's in the graveyard (as supposed to).

- The arrow from Spreading Seas to the enchanted land doesn't go away.
- Game crashes when AI attacks me while I have Ashiok, Dream Render out

The Planeswalker Ultimate trophy for Grist, the Hunger Tide cannot be earned. The card lacks this piece of coding:

Love this program! Thanks for adding MH2!

When I try to use any "fight" mechanic, or "Ram Through," it doesn't seem to have any effect - I haven't figured out yet how to look for the cause myself. Anyone else running into this?

Jewel-Eyed Cobra has the creature type "Smake" rather than "Snake." So it does not come up on searches if you are looking for Snake creatures.

Since now one else answered here's where the android files are: /storage/emulated/0/Android/obb/forge.app

The app is faster at set up which is awesome but there are a host of bugs such as; Achievements not listed under commander, custom commander decks listed as vintage, game crashes when trying to start a new game, double sided commanders constantly flicker till game crashes (new) but didn't in the old version.

Vermin Gorger does not seem to be working right. When I sacrifice, I both gain life and lose life. I am supposed to gain life, and the opponent is supposed to lose life.

Also, Terminal Agony from MH2 is showing up as costing 3 B R, when the correct cost is 2 B R. I've corrected it in my install, but wanted to pass it along.
