1.6.43 Update Question

So I updated via the download link provided in the forums, yet it says it's still version 1.6.36. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

My game does not do that. Mine says it is 1.6.43. I downloaded from this location: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=30499
