Multiplayer issues - Solutions?

Playing online with a friend. We have had a few issues and wish to know if there are any known solutions.
1: My opponent is unable to see card fronts when tutoring. He can only see the card backs.
2: On occasion, when playing my friend, I am able to see a tab that allows me to view his hand. I have no cards giving me a static ability to view his hand at any given time. This is not consistent.
Has anyone had these issues before and is there a known way to resolve them?
