First, try to use one of the daily snapshot of 1.6.54 :
https://downloads.cardforge.org/dailysnapshots/1.6.53 is nearly 6 months old and there have been a lot of bugs fixed and more sets and cards supported since 1.6.53, so there is some possibility the crash you're running into has been fixed already in a 1.6.54 snapshot.
Now if by any chances, your crash is still happening in 1.6.54 snasphot, try to clean up your saved decks and etc.. (see if you can find the "gauntlet save" in there) , by default their location on window 10 :
