Update forge for JOU

I'm trying to figure out how to update forge for JOU. Do I just have to download the new version? if so, what do I do to swap it with the old one but keep my decks and such?

Well, the first question would be why would you try to update Forge for JOU, seeing that this set is ten years old and should be included in any version of Forge automatically?
