double-clicking doesn’t work

Just as the title says, I double click and nothing happens. Older versions (1.6.54-SNAPSHOT) of Forge work, but not the latest snapshot(1.6.60-SNAPSHOT-01-16 2). This has been happening for weeks.


Windows 10
I uninstalled Java and reinstalled it up to Java 8.

I read this, but I couldn't figure it out:
Sometimes double-clicking will open the jar file in a different program. In Windows, you may need to right-click and open the properties to change the launching program to Java. This might be different in OSX or Linux systems.

Any help would be appreciated.
