Can I force latest revison of card?
by Tranberry » 13 Oct 2011, 20:03
I'm kind of new to magic and to be frank the old style on the cards are less then appealing to me. I don't care which version the computer/ai use, as long as I can choose a 8th or later version.
I know all cards have not been reprinted and I can bare not being able to use them.
Why I'm asking is that I tried to get Coat of Arms into a constructed deck but was only able to choose the older version of it.
Any response is appreciated / cheers!

by the way, I can't find any place where it states how to make card highlighted.

The card names are case sensitive.

The method for constructed decks is easy if you know which set the newer reprint is from. Simply open the deck you created with a normal text editor. On the line with the card that you want to specify a set for add a bar separator (i.e. "|") followed by the 3 letter set code.Tranberry wrote:I'm kind of new to magic and to be frank the old style on the cards are less then appealing to me. So if you wanted the Magic 2010 version of Coat of Arms in your deck, Zendikar lands and random Raging Goblin images, the line would look like this:
- Code: Select all
12 Mountain|ZEN
4 Coat of Arms|M10
4 Raging Goblin
etc
Edit: Unfortunately there's no way (that I'm aware of) to just set all your cards to be 8Ed+ without manually tweaking each deck.
