You can now download the quest opponent icon pics, pet pics and the token pics using the New Game -> Menu -> Download Quest Images. We will no longer need to provide a link for these pics with the beta release message on our forum.


The Forge archive includes a readme.txt file and we ask that you spend a few minutes reading this file as it contains some information that may prove usefull. We do tend to update this file at times and you should quickly read this file and look for new information for each and every new release. Thank you.

I noticed that many of the cards are control cards (like Arcane Laboratory, Nevermore).
Flip cards, double faced cards, new planeswalkers and epic cards are here too. This is very good.

Wow, what a cool update! I'm excited by the flip cards and Epic spells.

Best part though... Mudhole and Yawgmoth's Will in the same update. Seems like that should rupture the space-time continuum or something.

Please have a look at Liliana of the Veil's ultimate ability and report here if the UI isn't intuitive. (Or Do or Die ; it uses the same UI part.)

Does anyone know if I can change the default land cards in constructed mode to something other than Zendikar lands?

Thanks so much for double-faced cards and Yawgmoth's Will! I must say forge is the greatest open source game project I have ever seen.

Hey guys if you keep adding cards at this rate you'll need to invent new ones

Forge is near to have every mtg mechanic working, I've been playing forge for two months using daily betas and there hasn't been a mere day in which no new cards are added.

The best card added in this beta has undoubtedly been Yawgmoth's Will, but the adding of double faced cards it's impressive... Thanks a lot for every card and improvement

Yeah, I was in a rush and made a typo and failed to see my mistake. Sorry about that.

Flip cards, double-sided cards, and 2 of my favorites - Voice of All and Urza's Incubator. I'm pretty happy with this new release. Keep up the great work, guys!

The descriptions in the change log tends to be brief and technically orientated. I have been hiding it inside of a spoiler so as not to scare off portions of our user base. The change logs are included in the changes.txt file found inside of the archives. I have tried to add some non-technical sounding fluff material at times for easier reading.

Do people miss the change log?

A bit. I usually read through it even if I don't understand every line item.

Very nice! We finally have the most 'raw-powerful' card in Magic around, and a lot of other goodies.

Quick question, tho': why does the Card Shop keeps getting less and less available goods the more matches you win? Is that intended?

Oh and the recent (which might not be so recent, since I haven't been around much) changes to Quest Mode are awesome!
