Tried going to it several times to get a new update (love the direction this game is going btw), and I got a "domain name expired" message.

What's the scoop?

The devs are aware of the problem and are looking into it. AFAIK Rob owns the domain, so we're waiting to hear from him. But development is continuing, and in the meantime Chris has posted a new daily build on mediafire. You can find those links and latest news on the situation in this thread.

I thought I had a few more days on it. I initiated a renewal this morning at 12:45, it's still in a pending state, hopefully it will be finished before the end of the day.

The domain name is being transferred, unfortunately, domain hosts take their sweet time to transfer. I just did my personal one recently, and it took about a week from when I got the transfer notice put it in.

Cheap hosting sucks for customer support. I mean, the waiting period sucked, but that's an Internic thing.... It was not getting proper answers to a whole number of questions in the email thread, forget about using full sentences.

Glad to see it back up. Got the latest build. Really changing the whole interface I see. Wow, I barely recognize the game anymore.

After loading my old quest, I did not see a "play" button....?

The Quest Interface is still being worked on. The whole interface should be available if you select your opponent and scroll a bit to the Start button. On my Resolution (1440x900) I can barely see the Start button visible.
