Feast of Flesh

Feast of flesh is a prebuilt beck in the shop. every time it comes up, it costs about 30 credits. The cards in it add up to a lot more than 30 so I always buy it for profit. Is this supposed to happen? I've never seen another deck under four digits.

I assume that something is getting confused between the card Feast of Flesh and the prebuilt deck Feast of Flesh.

Devs, any comment?

The precon deck Feast of Flesh in the most recent snapshot build has a cost of 1200 credits. An earlier version may have had a price around 25 credits.

My suggestion is to update to a more recent version of forge. Forge version 1.2.3 also has a price set to 1200 credits. :)

I may have to update my prices then. I'm running v1.2.3 and saw the extraordinarily cheap precon deck.

I intentionally lowered the prices to 1 credit so I could start a new quest and buy a deck or two to use as my quest deck. I wanted to play test this scenario. :wink:

Could you look inside of your forge folder for this file:

/res/quest/precons/Feast of Flesh.dck

and load this file into a deck editor. It should look like this:

/res/quest/precons/Feast of Flesh.dck | Open
[shop]
WinsToUnlock=0
Credits=1200
MinDifficulty=0
MaxDifficulty=5
[metadata]
Name=Feast of Flesh
Description=Phyrexians are among the most brutal, vicious monstrosities ever seen, and now that their victory is at hand, there's no stopping the carnage.
Deck Type=constructed
Set=NPH
Image=feast_of_flesh.jpg
[main]
2 Shrine of Burning Rage
1 Tower of Calamities
11 Mountain
13 Swamp
2 Blistergrub
2 Blisterstick Shaman
2 Caustic Hound
1 Chancellor of the Dross
2 Entomber Exarch
2 Flameborn Viron
2 Furnace Scamp
2 Phyrexian Rager
1 Prodigal Pyromancer
1 Scoria Elemental
2 Tormentor Exarch
1 Enslave
2 Parasitic Implant
2 Artillerize
1 Fling
2 Geth's Verdict
1 Go for the Throat
1 Despise
1 Disentomb
1 Ichor Explosion
1 Morbid Plunder
1 Whipflare
[sideboard]

If this file in your copy has a cost of 1200 credits and you are seeing 25 credits displayed in the game, then wow, what a good deal. :lol:

I've seen this error before, I think ZZZ might be right where the card Feast of Flesh is overriding the price of the precon.

Could be, I decided to restart my quest time after time again until the Feast of Flesh precon deck appeared in the card shop.

Yeah, I looked up the deck and it is at 1200. I looked at all prices and the card is listed at 25. I have the most recent version of forge so I'm guessing that you are right.

Yes, the file says 1200 credits, but the price in the shop is 25 credits. I suspect that the problem is that the price lookup is based on just the name.

Confirmed. If I edit Feast of Flesh.DCK with the line
Name=Feast of Flesh Precon
instead of
Name=Feast of Flesh
the price shows up correctly.
