Hmm.

Using r2134, AI is tapped out playing U/R (both decks auto-generated), I cast Arctic Nishoba during main 2, and Forge throws up this exception:

This has been reported already and is fixed.

danielvinson wrote:I just stole a Creakwood Leige with an Adarkar Valkarie, and it still pumped my opponent's creatures and gave my opponent tokens. Using the newest beta.
Edit - also, Natural Order can only fetch green creatures. The AI just found Emrakul with it.
Should be fixed as of revision 2141.

It seem this card was not intended to be used by the AI. It will be removed from AI decks.

Elspeth, Knight-Errant ability -8: You get an emblem with "Artifacts, creatures, enchantments, and lands you control are indestructible." does not function as designed. Only the emblem has the ability indestructible.

Steps to duplicate:
Playing in Quest mode against Dracula 3.
Player activates the Elspeth, Knight-Errant ability:
-8: You get an emblem with "Artifacts, creatures, enchantments, and lands you control are indestructible."
Emblem is created with the text:
Indestructible, Shroud
Artifacts, creatures, enchantments, and lands you control are indestructible.
Other permanents do not have that ability.

Expected outcome:
Artifacts, creatures, enchantments, and lands you control should have the ability indestructible until the end of the game.
This actually did work, except that it took a phase or two to kick in. Anyway, right after the emblem hits play it makes the check, so the indestructible effect should happen right away now.

The indestructible effect takes place for future creatures but does not take place for future tokens, like the ones Elspeth can create. Ones created before the -8 ability are fine, ones afterward are not. Not sure if this is working as intended or not.

One thing I have noticed... it's not an error persay, as much as a poor choice by the AI, it has the inability to use the Stuffy Doll correctly. It just continually flicks you for 1 point instead of waiting and blocking that 10/10 critter about to crush you and return the favor. Also, when facing the Stuffy Doll on the defense, the AI attacks when the the damage caused by the stuffy doll will kill it.

I just thought I'd point that out as a specific error of the Stuffy Doll strategy.

I tried to cancel paying for an abPumpTgt.

It prevented me from continuing the game, and persisted into the next game. Restarting the match caused it to detect that an error may have occurred, and prevented the match from continuing.

Got any more information? Which card? What mana did you pay?

I can replicate this bug with the abPump creature Manta Riders.

Code: Select all
abPump U:Flying
I could tap blue mana sources, but the mana would just vanish and the prompt to pay U was still there. Cancel did not work and as Rob says even the next game is affected.

It seem this card was not intended to be used by the AI. It will be removed from AI decks.
`
The canPlayAI() for Stonecloaker:

Code: Select all
public boolean canPlayAI() {
    return false;
}
`
makes me think that the computer did not cast this card from it's hand.

timmermac, did the AI use a spell to take this card out of your Hand/Graveyard and then attempt to put it into play?

That makes sense. Mana abilities were getting caught up in the code that was designed to have triggered abilities be added after an ability was finished being paid.

Forge Version r2160

I am not sure if this is a bug, but the AI plays Spreading Seas and enchants a Mountain I have in play. When I move my cursor over Spreading Seas the card box says this:
Code: Select all
Enchant land

When Spreading Seas enters the battlefield, draw a card.

tap: add R

Enchanted land is an Island.
*Enchanting Mountain (17)*
I don't think that Spreading Seas should have the mana ability tap: add R.

Then I also had a weird bug with the card text overlay. AI has a Sejiri Merfolk creature and two Lord of Atlantis creatures in play. When the AI attacks the card overlay of Sejiri Merfolk shows its a 2/1 creature. When I block Sejiri Merfolk the card overlay shows its a 4/3 creature. Then in my turn the card overlay of Sejiri Merfolk shows its a 2/1 creature again. Here are some screenshots:
After attackers were declared:

Honestly, I couldn't tell you for sure at the moment. I don't even remember exactly which deck I was playing against at the time. I know it wasn't one of the ones that are included with the quest mode. What I've done is taken the decks that were in the non-quest-mode deck archive that got put out a while back and put them into /res/quest/decks to give me more opponents to play against. I also added them into the easy/medium/hard text files. I'm sure that the deck I was playing against when this happened was one of those, but I can't remember exactly which one.
