Ignore the Honor of the Pure. Didn't realize AI had a boosting Soldier in play.

For Thopter, it doesn't use abCost so it may try to target even though it shouldn't.

I would think that it would matter, since you have to pick an artifact to sacrifice, which would imply targeting. I'm not a DCI judge, though, so I could be wrong. *shrugs*

To my understanding, sacrificing isn't targeted unless it specifically says so, like Ashling, the Extinguisher.

I can't find a rule that clearly states this though.

Two reasons why this should not be targeted:

1. Activation costs in general never target.

2. When something targets the word "target" appears in the sentence. Simple as that.

I tried a test deck using a recent SVN build (3212). I was able to target an Etched Champion with the Thopter Foundry. There were 6 mox in play so the Etched Champion 's metalcraft was in effect.

Upon resolution, the Etched Champion remained in play and the Thopter Foundry instead was sacrificed. When I target one of the mox I get the expected result. Strange.

Computer had two Bloodghast in play. I played Crovax, Ascendant Hero and they both went to the graveyard. Then computer played two Vampire Nocturnus and one Ascendant Evincar and subsequently used Landfall to return the two Bloodghast to the playing field. I then played Journey to Nowhere on one Vampire Nocturnus and the Ascendant Evincar. The second Vampire Nocturnus was killed and is in the graveyard.

Currently the computer has the following in play. Two Bloodghast, 2/1. A Nirkana Cutthroat with two counters, 3/2. Malakir Bloodwitch, 4/4. I have several creatures including one Crovax, Ascendant Hero. Should the Bloodghast be in the graveyard instead of still in play? The next turn the computer played another Bloodghast and it went straight to the graveyard but the other two are still in play.

Sorry for such a long post, but wanted to include the sequence of events leading to the current state to maybe help figure out what is going on.

Playing Master of Etherium triggers Sword of the Meek from the Graveyard while controling another artifact (should not), and then Sword of the Meek comes into play under opponents control...

Thopter Squadron is not flying and its abilities can be played as instants.

This is mostly fixed already.

My feeling on this is that the 2x Bloodghast should have made a return trip to the graveyard as soon as the Nocturni and the bad Crovax went away.

One of the devs recently spent some time re-writing the code for Animate Dead. This allowed the card to be handled as an aura rather than as a sorcery.

It worked great for a beta or two. Unfortunately, recent improvements and changes broke this part of the code base. At some point, someone will strp in a figure out what happened and the broken card will be fixed. It may take some time, though. :)

r2354 - I had Azorius First-Wing in play and tried to cast Steel of the Godhead on it. Instead of the expected you-can't-do-this message I was allowed to complete the casting at which time both cards ended up in my graveyard.

Fixed. Used the wrong comparison to make Animate Dead Targeting function properly.

I turned compy's Doubling Season into an artifact with Memnarch and then gained control of it (also Memnarch), but when I use the +2 ability of Jace Beleren I only get 2 counters instead of 4.
The counters for Umezawa's Jitte are doubled though.
Also the winning by milling the opponent bonus doesn't seem to work any more.
