If any of these were already mentioned my apologies.
Copyedit -
Platinum Emperion isn't a Colossus as it is coded in Forge but a Golem as printed on the card.
- Shouldn't
Symbiotic Beast be an "Insect Beast"?
- There is a triad of race-less non-artifact Soldiers:
Intrepid Hero,
Alert Shu Infantry,
Alaborn Grenadier - The text of
Abjure: "sacrifice 1 Permanent.Blue."
- Peculiar:
Phantom Nishoba notes in its text that "(NOTE: "Whenever
Phantom Nishoba deals damage, you gain that much life." not implemented, instead
Lifelink.)" However
Zebra Unicorn has "K:Whenever CARDNAME deals damage, you gain that much life." Probably I'm missing something here.
-
Derelor's text:"Black spells you cast cost Black more to cast."
-
Borderland Behemoth doesn't have trample as it should: the ability isn't on the card's text and the combat damage dealt doean't carry over to the defending player if it's blocked.
-
Thrull Champion lacks the text "All Thrull creatures get +1/+1".
Sima Yi, Wei Field Marshal has two dashes in its type line.
- When converting pertinent cards to PT with *
Tarmogoyf and
Terravore weren't converted, and that, when viewed on card detail panel in the Deck Editor,
Lhurgoyf is a 0/0.
- Just in case someone runs a deck with
All Is Dust constructed in the previous revisions (before 12-11): you'll have to manually edit "All is Dust" to "All
Is Dust" in the *.dck file so it doesn't show an error message when loading a pertinent deck.
-
Giant Warthog should be a "Boar Beast"
AI Shenanigans - The AI activates land animating abilities,
Raging Ravine and
Ghitu Encampment in this case, and "forgets" it can't tap them for mana if it wants to attack which it could with no response available to me.
Malfunctioning Cards - One should be able to cancel
Wild Mongrel's pumping ability in case one clicks on it accidentally.
- I tried to use
Black Mana Battery to pay for the casting cost of a spell after getting the pertinent prompt, but noting happened when I clicked the Mana Battery so half frustrated and half wondering I clicked on it a few more times just to see if it wasn't a computer lag or my pen tablet acting up. I gave up trying to use the Mana Battery and proceeded to pay for the spell with the available lands. Just after the spell went on the stack I got the choice prompt for the Mana Battery, I OK'ed it and it appeared again several more times and I OK'ed all of them. In total with this neat little trick I got 6 black mana. With more testing I found that the number of prompts one gets should be roughly equivalent to the number of times one clicks (40 mana anyone?), that this happens also if you cancel the aforementioned spell and that this happens for all mana batteries.
- Trample interacts weirdly with lifelink when an attacking creature with trample and lifelink is blocked. Two life gain instances are "triggered", the first for the damage assigned to the player, the second for the damage that would be assigned to the blocking creature if the attacker hadn't trample. See the appended screenshot below.
- I was under the impression casting through madness was optional even for
Basking Rootwalla. By that I mean the stack description of the ability is formulated as a question but I get no prompt to respond to.
Error ReportsThe "2011-01-07-00.txt" error report below was caused by my canceling the choice prompt for the second ability of the
Black Mana Battery. After some testing it can be safely assumed this happens for all of the mana batteries. This locks up the program. If I OK it even with 0 counters removed it produces the expected amount of mana. This appears to be a similar error to the one I reported for
Gemstone Array.

Miscellaneous Comments - Was right-clicking to undo a mistaken attacker declaration intentionally removed as a feature? I might add that being able to undo mistakes done while assigning blockers would be great as I'm a bit heavy handed on my pen tablet.
- When I have the Deck Editor maximized that rather helpful footnote thingy detailing the contents of my deck is hidden by the Windows task bar.
Only when I restore the Deck Editor it and pull the window up and pull the bottom of the window down can I access that bit of information. Just in case it's pertinent my screen resolution is 1024x768. It probably has something to do with the size of the items on the right pane (see the composite screen capture below). I think it may have something to do with the 1 pixel margin on the set tag. Uh... and one would think the Damage and Damage Assigned items would be unnecessary in the Deck Editor.
Anyway, I hope this helps
