Return to Ravnica - Call for Testers

We'll be releasing the beta containing all the RtR goodness in a few days. So if anyone is interested in helping with some final alpha testing so that we can squash as many bugs (no offence to the Golgari fans  ) as possible before release, please grab the latest daily build from this page.

Any bugs you come across in these versions should be posted to the Snapshot bug reports topic in the Developer's Corner. We're looking predominantly for users to test the new RtR cards, but there's lots of other new cards that could do with some extra testing too.

Unleash works properly, but it has 3 different triggers that pop up.

Edit: Just noticed a new version is up. Disregard if already known/fixed.

Yea... Known and fixed already. Thanks for reporting anyway. We want a nice clean release if we can manage :D

I try to start a RtR draft on forge-1.2.15-20121002.112705-5 in Windows XP and Forge crashes.

::EDIT:: I see there is a -7 I will try that quick.
::EDIT 2:: -7 Seems to be cooperating with drafting so far. Will keep messing with it now.

The crash with drafting RtR was due to the fact that the cards didn't have any sort of draft rankings. This has since been fixed =D> Thanks for reporting.

Corpsejack Menace and Unleash cards do not correctly work to double the number of +1/+1 counters being put on by Unleash.

::EDIT:: I think I know what happened with this crash I observed... The AI had an Axebane Guardian and went to main phase. I expect it was trying to figure out how to cast or what it could cast.

Fixed! Thanks carpeamentum.

I can't reproduce this with just Axebane Guardian (or two). :?:

The fix Sloth posted fixes this too, as well as all other "enters the battlefield with ... counters" in conjunction with Corpsejack Menace and Doubling Season etc.

Two issues with the deck editor:
1) Panels do not allow resizing.
2) Columns are no longer resizable either (maybe related).

One issue with skins:
1) Background image no longer shows in interface.

Am putting together some R2R decks and will see how it goes. Thanks for all the great work.

Just tested on the latest version and everything resizes fine (the cursor doesn't change to indicate that you can adjust the size though). For the table columns you change the width by dragging between the titles, not anywhere else down the column.

The background image only appearing in the match window was done purposefully. Some text was really difficult to read in some of the skins (especially those with more transparent panels). As far as I recall this was how Doublestrike initially implemented the background image, but somewhere during the standardization of the UI elements, the background got carried through to everything.

As for testing, there's only a few hours left before the beta release so get any bugs in as you come across them so we can do some eleventh hhour squishing.

Glad you're enjoying!

First of all, thank you for all of your hard work.

Was playing constructed on what appears to be the latest build (forge-1.2.15-20121004.104142-7.tar.bz2) and ran into a problem.

I'm able to play any number of lands in a turn, as opposed to the typical one land per turn.
I tested this with a few different decks I put together and was able to replicate this on each occasion, regardless of the board state.

Last game I was able to play 5 lands on my first turn and drop a Vraska.
While I find this quite amusing, it could probably use a bit of attention.

Sorry if this has already been addressed and thanks again for all the sweet Forge action!

The developer mode is allowed to play any number of lands in a turn. You may disable it.

Hi,
I cast Sphinx's Revelation
I have a Goblin Electromancer in play which should give me a discount on the total cost
How do I do this in forge? Forge asks for a value of X and normally (if i'm correct) in magic you first determine total cost, then discount, then pay...
KR,
