Nope, not dead... just dormant. I'm busy with work so no more official skins since Journeyman 8 posts ago, Myk is also busy with real-life stuff as far as I know so not much work done on the skin migrations (not that I'm aware of at least), and there haven't been any user contributions.Harfenik wrote:Hi, i hope this topic is not dead , dont worry, I remember. Glad you like it! I'm planning on creating some more when work clears up again, but no idea when that will be.ozks wrote:Journeyman it is one of the best skins i ever see for forge...

For now here's just something small I've been meaning to post for a while. Its just a replacement for the 'missing image' picture matched to the default skin and not looking like a multicolored land. Hopefully at some stage Myk or one of the other devs can make it so that if a skin folder contains an image by that name it will override the picture.

Just wanted to give a heads up that the upcoming Forge release will support switching between skins/themes from any screen and have it take effect immediately without needing to restart Forge. You will be able to do so from Layout > Theme in the main menu or via the combo box on the Preferences page of the Home screen.
EDIT: This support is now live as of version 1.5.0 that was just released.

Comic MTG
by 1224Deko » 13 Feb 2014, 01:01
Here you go... Next skin, it's very similar to Simpson Theme(similar font etc.)... previously it was to be completely different skin, but it looks like it looks... I don't like this skin but i spent on it a little bit time ... I used future mana symbols, it doesn't looks good, also texture isn't perfect (i made 3 versions, previous versions was better but it was to light), there is some another minor fault, i don't want wasting time to correct it but begin work on another i hope a better skin...

Could anyone explain to me how to create a new skin?
I've made a custom background image, but I don't know how to edit fonts, windows positions and colors...
Please help
EDIT: My image looks darker ingame, is there a black layer overlay?

just put your font in skin folder named font1.ttf. to edit colors you must edit sprite_icon.png - edit column in top-left - you could use transparent layer to be them transparency(that's what your image is darker probably)... unfortunately i could not find any style.xlm or other file to edit positions, rows, positioning another images etc. but you can do it easy ingame as you wish....Stampedo wrote:Could anyone explain to me how to create a new skin?
