Forge Beta: 02-08-2013 ver 1.3.8

I went to that thread, is this the correct place for the download?

The Forge 02/08/2013 Windows and Linux archive (requires java 6):

forge-1.3.8.tar.bz2

I downloaded that and used winzip7 on it, but I don't see how it did anything. Sorry, just not used to that program maybe. Is there any step by step to get started on Forge? And is that the WHOLE program or do I need a base to start with?

Okay, so the program is in and started... now I have to go download pics, prices, etc?

Yes, you should now download the content. Be prepared for this to take a few hours.

Thanks, I saw the card art takes like 3 hours so I'm gonna start that while I'm at the gym and dinner.

One last question, is there a walk around world like Shandalar? Or just the quest challenges?

This looks fun playing with all these new and old cards, just a bit overwhelming to get started!

A walk around world like Shandalar was planned and started but was never finished. Check out the Fantasy Quest option.
