It's not weird. It's the same thing as always.

Updated first post.

I haven't fixed the things you reported Marek so that's most likely still a problem. There's some stuff I've been wanting to do with this project but haven't really been feeling up to it. I'm hoping to get some time for it during august/september.

Unfortunately, Arch, this release is REALLY buggy.

Let's start with the main problem: size. The previous text version had around 2.9 MB. This one has 1.6. This means that whole blocks of cards are just plain missing from the new version. I file-compared, and things like Rough//Tumble, Sickle Ripper, Somberwald Sage, Valor, and many others are gone. Lots of new cards from Magic Origins is missing as well, although some are included.

Plus, there are no new set abbreviations for Tempest Remastered, Modern Masters 2 or even Magic Origins itself, making the number of cards with missing set data quite high.

But as I said, the main problem is that this is not a complete list -- far from it.

There's still a set missing but the cards should be there now.

Yes, it looks like the only missing set code is Fate of Ugin now - Tempest Remastered, Origins, Modern Msaters 2 and Elspeth vs. Kiora seem to be all there. Thanks!

Double-faced planeswalkers from Origins seem to be missing the color indicators.

I'm going to drop this project.

It's been a long time since I did any magic related coding (other than this) and about as long since I even played it. This is constantly at the bottom of my todo list, when I remember to include it, and it's become more of a chore since I can't find the motivation to continue with it.

This means that quality and delivery times are suffer quite a bit. And since the aim of the project is to provide quality data for others the whole thing falls apart. Which is why I've decided to pull the plug properly instead.

I'd like to thank all the people who reported bugs and fixes, especially Marek who was the main driver in making it a good product.

I've made a final update to the first post with the current data. I've also added a link to the compiled jar files with some instructions if anyone want to run it by themselves. It may or may not be serviceable depending on what wizards does with their website.

A similar project is available at http://mtgjson.com/. Can't vouch for it though as I've only glanced at it.
