The Planeswalkers were not parsed correctly and in the process they swallowed whatever card was listed after them. It's been fixed, thanks for reporting it.

I also switched to a long dash in the type-line as you commented on earlier.

Well, by the dash I actually meant that the long dash is not displaying properly in my viewer (in Notepad, yes, though), so I change it to short dash.

The entry for Altar of Dementia looks weird:

Altar Of Dementia (Altar of Dementia)
2
Artifact
Sacrifice a creature: Target player puts a number of cards equal to the sacrificed creature's power from the top of his or her library into his or her graveyard.

No set info.

What happened?

It's because Wizards added errata in the form of changing "Of" to "of". As you can see the errata is part of the name for some reason.

I'm using both the text-spoiler as well as the checklist when generating data and since they have different names they won't match up.

This problem also affects some other cards. Most notably the double/multi-part cards such as "Boom // Bust" and the flip-cards. Basically every card that for one reason or another has parenthesis in the name in gatherer. (Call of the Herd, Valor, rathi Berserker as well.)

I've been aware of this for some time but haven't gotten around to fixing it. Unfortunately my computer broke down a few days ago so I'll probably won't be able to look into it until next week some time. (When my new one arrives.)

OK. Look at An-Havva Township when you're at it as well - there are empty lines between its abilities, not sure why.

Another problem - seems that all the cards starting with AE (which, btw, is not displaying correctly for me) are put alphabetically last :(

I'll just make sure the whole thing is ASCII, that way it'll be compatiable with the most viewers (probably something I should have done from the start). It would also sort out the sorting problem.

The gaps in the abilities text is a pretty common and will be fixed as well.

OK, thanks. I think that the ideal alphabetical order is the one Wizards follow on the collectors' numbers, or in gatherer.

Here's the text version. The data will be uploaded once I finish reworking the program.

Currently known "bugs":
- Nalathni Dragon, Sewers of Estark and Windseeker Centaur are missing set data. They don't appear to belong to any set.
- Homura, Human Ascendant is just wrong. Gatherer does not have the correct information here. Will find a way to fix in the future.

The AEther cards should be probably written with capital E.

I actually thought about this quite a bit but without finding compelling arguments for either side. In the end I just went with the easiest solution.

I'll change it so it's AE in future releases but won't bother uploading the fix at this time. Just do a search-replace if you need it right away.

These are some of the first promos that Wizards did and they don't have a set. These cards caused so much confusion that Wizards said it not make new cards for promos, only reprints. Below is taken from Mark Rosewater's article, number 14.

There are a handful of Magic cards that did not first appear in an expansion. Five of them (Arena, Giant Badger, Mana Crypt, Sewers of Estark, and Windseeker Centaur) were promotional cards that could be attained by sending in forms found inside early Magic novels. The book promo cards had an expansion symbol of a pen (recently brought back on the Jace Beleren promo card released for Agents of Artifice). Another card, Nalathni Dragon, was originally given away to attendees at Dragon*Con in 1994. The complaint from the audience was so vocal that Wizards decided to never again print functionally unique cards outside of expansions. Nalathni Dragon was put into Duelist #3 (a magazine produced by Wizards) to allow people who didn't attend Dragon*Con to get their hands on a copy.

Just more one more exception to take note of, but I guess magic wouldn't be much fun without all the exceptions.

Updated with fixed Homura and AE spelling.

One strange thing I noticed in the latest version:

The 2ED (Unlimited) expansion identifier is not shown at any card.

It was mistakenly removed together with the Un* sets. Will be fixed in next release.
