Perpetual MWS Errors

Every time I start playing a game using MWS (on any server against anyone... even tried a solitare game to see if it still happened) it freezes up and an error window pops up that says "Exception TGIFImage in module MWSPlay.exe at 00142FED". If anyone knows what I can do to resolve this issue/get it to stop happening, help is appreciated. Thanks!

Are you using Vista?
What theme are you using?
Are you using pics?
When's the last time you did a fresh install?

Yes, I am using Vista. (I have been playing using MWS for quite a while on this computer with no previous problems though)
I'm not using any theme ... err I guess I'm using whatever the default one is.
No pics (I feel ghetto xP)
And I did a fresh install yesterday because of this problem and it didn't help at all.

I don't know, but to start I'd try installing somewhere besides the program files directory, and getting a theme from http://www.slightlymagic.net/software/mws/6-mtg-themes.

Where should I install it instead? (Im like technologically challenged lol -.-)

Anywhere besides the Program Files directory (it's UAC protected), typically C:\MWS.

Ugh... The problem is still happening...

After reinstalling and having the problem I decided to try rebooting my computer again and it seemed to work thanks for the help even if just rebooting wouldve done it haha... now i have the correct MWS masterbase and i think ill be able to do pics more easily cuz fresh start. Ty
