MWS as a tool.

Postby Moorningstar » 26 Jun 2012, 23:48

A friend of mine suggested MWS as a tool to develop a card game. Whileit is very open ended I'm not sure I can do everything I need to do.
Is there a way to have a card seperate from the deck that you can start the game with (ie. commander)?
Can you get the editor to break down custom cards by custom types (ie. reactor instead of land)?
I'm also having a problem with one card that I've labeled an artifact creature (even though it isn't). I've given it a cost type subtype and power toughness but when I try to add it to the deck it doesnt show up though it will increase the card count of the deck. I've made other cards exactly the same without this problem.
I appreciate any info you guys might have on this, and if you think there is a better tool I could use please point me at it. Thank you for your time.
