Is there anything I can do to help get Commander set in quickly? That little expansion is perfect for my group.

I know that there has not been a post in a while but I just downloaded this great tool. There is a column in the main card viewer called "Owned QNTY" but there doesn't seem to be a way to edit it right in the program. I noticed that this quantity needs to be imported from other inventory programs. Is that the only way to change that numner? If so is there anyway to allow that column to be edited. I would rather use this program than to have to use another program to put my card Qnty's in. It just seems it would be much easier to have a one stop shop with this program to keep track of cards and to build decks. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Easiest is to import via a patched MWS base with the cardgen tools.

@ BrewCrew
Double click the field and you can enter the amount.

How do you do this? I've looked all over the place and simply can't figure it out.

misc\import\readme.txt
When you have a MWS base and working cardgen at least the code + php.

Thanks a bunch. Magic 2012 and Commander are now working in my copy of Deck Builder. There was one small issue, though - the cardgen wanted three files - "orignalVanguardAvatars.csv", "extraVanguardAvatars.csv", and "planes.csv". If I dummy those files (I never play those formats), the cards.csv processes, just fine, but for completeness' sake, where would I get these files?

EDIT: I actually do have a problem. Phyrexian mana in the files seems to have been replaced with stuff like "%`", "%^", etc. The symbol has also changed in MWS, so it's not a conversion error. How would I update Deck Builder to understand this symbol?

Apply http://www.mediafire.com/file/1uqsb6u8t ... CardGen.7z it should replace those symbols and have the vanguard files and planes.

This import never works right for me. Could be that I'm using windows7.
Says:
File not found: "data/english.lang"
Doesn't like the URC for card 1996 World Champion either

So trying to get Gwar's database to work with deckbuilder, and these are the issues I've run into so far.

I had to rename all the eldrazi colorless color types to Art. Seems Gwar, to get around trying to print these cards, has decided to give each their own card backing. Perhaps deckbuilder could get modified to allow for these backgrounds as well?

I think this next problem deals with Gwar's Database having cleared out a lot of odd sets. Seems it doesn't like running R&D's Secret lair. (which is where I'm stuck for now.

Yes, in order to correctly render the Eldrazi, I have given them unique "colours", and I also have removed things like Unhinged.

The easiest thing to do would be to simply re-import Goblin Hero's masterbase if you need these cards.

Could you consider working with Huggy and Snack to get the deck builder to be integrated with the cardgen?
It's a nice deck building program that supports many formats, filters cards pretty efficiently and has integrated support for the cardgenerator, so that you can directly export your deck to it (Which by the way seems to be the only way to do it when using the cardgen in windows 7)

The deckbuilder happens to use all the same files as Cardgen, so it might just be the matter of adding a handful of megs to the cardgen.

Could someone upload a working version of their data files?

Or, if someone wants to help me figure this out, after import I get the following error:
Card not found: -Bog Witch

Bog Witch is in the Cards.csv, but -Bog Witch is not. I don't know why it's looking for -Bog Witch. Anyone know where deckbuilder gets it's card names from?
