As always, thank you Snako for keeping this great app current! 8)

Is there more up-to-date source code available? From what I've found the current public version of the compiled program is at 0.17-rc6.4, but the most recent source release I've found is from 0.17rc5. I'd really like to try my hand at correcting some of the hick-ups I've experienced using this program over the last couple days, but don't want to have to do work that has already been done in a newer release.

You didn't look hard enough in the first post you have 0.17-rc6.3 and there haven't been any code changes since then.

Sorry to waste your time than. I misread rc.6.3 as rc 3 in the first post. Not a great way to make a first impression, I'm sure, but hopefully I'll be able to make some useful progress.

Not sure If I'm doing something wrong.

I just downloaded the 0.17-rc6, uncompressed on a folder, It runs smoothly, after that, I download this file, http://www.mediafire.com/file/vsyh9ngb5 ... BSdata.zip and overwrite with it the content of the data folder.

When I try to run the app, it gives me this error:

Code: Select all
arcane.ArcaneException: Invalid picture number "ST" for card: Anaconda
   at arcane.Card.<init>(Card.java:137)
   at arcane.CardDataStore.populate(CardDataStore.java:152)
   at arcane.Arcane$DataLoader.loadCardData(Arcane.java:506)
   at arcane.Arcane$DataLoader.load(Arcane.java:428)
   at arcane.util.Loader.run(Loader.java:78)
   at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

It seems I cant get it update and working

Make sure you get the update http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jdvvr05dlld1r0a then apply the data update. This got a bit convoluted, because I didn't release a whole new package for a long time.

Could you update the Presets so they filter the sets correctly (they still show old standard and extended)?

I'm a Mac OS X user interested in using Nate's Deck Builder application. I followed the instructions posted by tojammot/Hapseleg more than once; when I test it sequentially, only the initial installation (mtgDeckBuilder-arcane0.17-rc6.4.7z) actually runs, but even it throws a variety of Java runtime errors:

And many more like this...

At least the rc6.5.7z version runs – although I can't get it to load the MTGO Text-format deck provided in the Magarena forum (Is there a list of cards?) for building Magarena decks. I can't tell if the error in loading the .txt format deck arises from one of the previous errors. All the later updates indicated in the instructional post cause the program to crash during launch (Sample error list:
