I can't download files from http://www.mediafire.com for some reason. Can you help me to sent the updates to another net-drive please? Thank you very much.~

I just found this and it is pretty cool. It took me a little piddling around to realize that Arcane v0.17 is supposed to go with the new Conflux release.

Is it intentional that Planeswalkers are counted as creatures in the deck information summary? I ask because the rules specifically say that they are not creatures.

Should 2.9.6a be removed from the first post?

<edit> Hmm, deck builder initializes than goes away for me, it never comes up to the main screen. #-o
<edit> Ahh, had to remove plugins, now it works.
<edit> But I don't see Conflux, ALA is the latest. I have extracted dataCFX.zip.
<edit> Never mind, I had extracted it to root instead of the data folder. I'm rusty!

Updated the first post.
Arcane 0.17 rc5 (alt link)
Source 0.17 rc5(alt link)

Nothing new except that it contains all the fixes and data updates posted in between and Planeswalkers aren't counted as creatures.

Should 2.9.6a be removed from the first post?
I'm not sure, maybe someone wants this ancient version for some reason as it's the last one from the old codebase.

Yeah, I was thinking about that and since that version still supports the plugins I think it should stay.

<edit> BTW, I like the CFX set code, that was my preference, but MHD and I assume GH for some reason preferred and are using the pedestrian and less glamorous CNF.

GH uses the same set code CFX, it's taken from the Gatherer, so it should be official.
Also Jade vs Chandra changed from JVC to DD2.

Fuckin' a, I've been vindicated! I didn't know the official code would be CFX, and those guys at the other forum guessed wrong.

Thanks for letting me know about the JVC code change.

MHD should make the correction then.

I play Incantus a lot and like to make my own custom decks. There are a lot of cards supported (over 2000 as of Incantus v0.57) but how can us Johnny deck builders tell which ones are implemented?

The way I solved this problem is Nate's deck builder using a Custom format. The "Custom" list of mine should ban all cards that are not implemented by Incantus. For example if you try to put Thistledown Liege into your U/W Kithkin deck you see it is not implemented (in this case because the card has Flash - but I digress).

I have uploaded the formats file I'm using to mediafire and named the file formats_incantus_v0.57.txt. If you want to try it you can download it and rename as formats.txt in your data directory. I have also provided an original unmodified version from arcane 0.17 in case you need to roll back.

Here is a new formats file for Incantus 0.571 released this week.

Edit: I just learned that the Apprentice format works in Incantus. So if you use Nate's Deckbuilder and save in Apprentice format then you can play your created decks directly in Incantus.

Snacko,

I seem to be having a bit of a problem with the latest version (rc5). It seems that the Magic Traders plugin used to work with the Arcane 17 series (perhaps rc2? haven't tried very recently), but it now gives me an error when I try to update pricing. Here is the text that shows in the Log Viewer:
arcane.ArcaneException: Card not found: the tabernacle at pendrell vale, 105.44, 31.14, 102.91, 139.99
at arcane.Arcane.getCards(Arcane.java:180)
at arcane.deckbuilder.magictraders.MagicTradersPlugin.loadPricesFromFile(MagicTradersPlugin.java:158)
at arcane.deckbuilder.magictraders.MagicTradersPlugin.access$1(MagicTradersPlugin.java:85)
at arcane.deckbuilder.magictraders.MagicTradersPlugin$2.run(MagicTradersPlugin.java:72)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
Any ideas? I looked in the Plugins/MagicTraders/prices.txt and the data/Cards.csv file and found "The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale" in both files. I tried it a couple times, including going ahead and downloading current pricing from magictraders.com before the last attempt and all failed with the same error. Also, the next time I load Deck Builder, I get another error message talking about a problem loading the plugin. I did notice that there seems to be a problem with MagicTraders' site, the "Weekly" list is empty (as of 01:10a edt Fri 13th). If the plugin is pulling from the "Weekly" category, that may explains the issue.

Thanks for all the hard work :)
