You're most likely missing the pre8th templates.
You can download them separately from mediafire or the fat pack with every resource (includes some premium fonts) from here http://www.slightlymagic.net/hqpics/4-mtg/13-hqcg.
You could also disable the old renderer which will force all old card to be rendered with the post8th (the one used currently by Wizards).
In config.txt

- Code: Select all

render.eighth = 1
render.preEighth = 0
render.preEighth.basic.land.frames = 0
render.decklist = 0
render.vanguard = 1
render.planeswalker = 1

I have unzipped the 3 files on that page, and I have a directory called preeigth, it has a subfolder called rarity... Making them all modern works, but there is something about a 9e mox that doesn't look right. Any other suggestions?

That means it's missing the resources for pre8th (I haven't uploaded that package, so I can't say if something is missing or not, but will download and check).
You can download the pre8th resources only http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?nznmyvkzxjt , that should do it.
If there's still something missing, there are some smaller packages available at mediafire http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=8127 ... b0c76f1ce7

fixed it. I copied my preeighth directory into the images subfolder, and that fixed it.

Doesn't work. Same problem. WHen you do a clean install, something is missing. I don't know what, so I'm having to trail and error my way through it. Someone should fix this in the main files..

unfortunately the error message that I get doesn't tell me where I should put the images to fix it, either... anyone know what file I need to look at to find that information?

When I expanded the zips, I had preeighth and eighth in the root. Move them to the images folder.
