HQ Proxy Art?

I'm new here and having trouble figuring something out, are any of the HQ card generators or torrent files for different card sets (avacyn restored, modern masters, etc..) still working and able to be downloaded? I'm making proxies for personal use and I just can't grasp if this is the right website for card art to be downloaded and resized to look relatively clear and sharp when made into a proxy...sorry if I sound dumb Thanks to anyone who can help answer this question.
