Custom cards?

Postby DennisBergkamp » 18 Apr 2010, 19:00

Can this be used to generate custom cards as well? I've tried MSE, which is great, but its output is not quite as HQ as I'd wanted.
Thanks :)

The interface is very cumbersome as you need to use the console to input text.
However if it doesn't bother you you can use misc/createCard . It doesn't support Planeswalkers or Planes as I didn't add those, because no one really wanted to use the text based interface (will update soon).

The cards you currently can't generate (no renderer supported) are 4 ability planeswalkers, new ROE level up and semi transparent Eldrazi and Futureshifted.

And it's possible to make a GUI, HarryPitfall had one once upon a time. Just in case someone was interested in making one...

I'm still have a GUI running now, with some updates and some half-coding things :)
It's only share the resources (images and fonts) from the nate's generator.
And imports directly the masterbase - it uses is own internal database - from our great contributor, Goblin Hero, reading sets/cards!
The troublesome part... is a bit hard todo the initial configuration, and keeping the updates... it's need a complete help file explaining step by step all the actions you need to do...

That's good news! When or where can we see it?
