Right, because on foreign promos they use foreign words, like "28 de enero de 2012".

Finding the right Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian characters might be tricky, try Goolge and Bing translate to see if you can get them easily.

Should the color of the date stamps be tracked? I think I've seen silver, red, and green. Maybe "RDATE" for red, and "SDATE" for Silver, etc?

I think not. We have scans for such things.

I noticed that the Simplified Chinese cards in MA are from expansion Darksteel.
I prepared a excel file about the expansion Mirrodin, can you advise if it is useful? If it is ok, then I will try to do the earlier sets.

Upload the 8th edition and some revise on Mirrodin.

I only have cards pictures in my hand, so type them into excel won't be a quick work.

@ pppxigua: Thank you for your work!
Perhaps you already know it, Magic Albums picture database includes the pictures of Simplified Chinese cards for Portal 3 Kingdoms. Just in case you want to add them / have time for it.

@ Prokhor
So far as I know, before Odyssey block, only below sets have simplified Chinese version:

7th Edition / 6th Edition / 5th Edition (only 350 cards)
Invasion block (including Invasion, Planeshift and Apocalypse) / Urza's Saga / Portal 3 Kingdoms

Can you advise if I'm right? Or I missed something?

AFAIK Portal 1 was also printed in simplified chinese (221 cards).
For orientation which set was printed in which language, I can recommend

Don't know who did it, but it seems accurate.

I can post a working link for that prokhor. Once you have 5 posts, you'll be allowed to post links.

@pppxigua

See the spreadsheet linked here. Also the discussion surrounding the spreadsheet. http://www.magiclibrarities.net/forum/v ... php?t=7574

Then all SC cards are ready, the spreadsheet is useful. Thanks!
