Thank you all for keeping Magic Album up to date and alive! It's a must have for managing my collection.

Here's a Power Shell Script which you can use to download the pictures from ZNR from Scryfall.
I created this by using a small self-made tool in MS-Excel.

What you will have to do:
- rename it from ".txt" to ".ps1"
- check and maybe adjust the path to your picture folder inside the script.
- create the corresponding folders in your picture folder.
- after finishing, you will have to mass-rename all appearences of "(" and ")" with "[" and "]" in your filenames.

Maybe you can use this to make things a bit easier for you... but you may have to check the legals (?).

New standard legal set = new script for downloading the images from scryfall

Howto:

- check and maybe adjust the path to your picture folder inside the script.
- create the corresponding folders in your picture folder.
- after finishing, you will have to mass-rename all appearences of "(" and ")" with "[" and "]" in your filenames (I used Microsoft's PowerRename to do this).

Same procedure as always. Except you'll have to copy the foil variants into the corresponding folder.

Hello,

I have trouble with foil cards tagged as "Only" in Magic Album database. For example the card Akiri, Line-Slinger; I have put the file in M:\Magic Album pictures\Special Sets\Commander 2016\ENG FOIL\Akiri, Line-Slinger.jpg but the image is blank. I have renamed the file as Akiri, Line-Slinger [Foil], Akiri, Line-Slinger [Foil only] and Akiri, Line-Slinger [Only] with the same result.

Am I missing something?
