How are named that sets that you say in remove sets? mkm dont work neither

They are called "Masters Edition", and there's four of them: I, II, III, and IV, that you can remove, since those sets were only released for MTG Online.Broodstar wrote:How are named that sets that you say in remove sets? mkm dont work neither

Hello! The patches for Modern Horizons 3 are ready. I included two MH3 files, but you don't need both. Choose one depending on your preference:
- MH3 contains new cards + reprints like Sylvan Safekeeper.
- MH3 - New ones does not contain any kind of reprints.
Commander cards are inside M3C. As always, Extended and Borderless versions were removed, to have smaller files.
Gatherer grouped M3C cards in a weird way, and it would take too long to rearrange them properly. For this reason, the Number and Artist fields of M3C cards may not be the right ones. I didn't fix them because only 30 cards were affected, but in case you care, you can fix them using something like notepad++.
Some people are having issues with newer sets. Unfortunately, the database was not designed to contain this many cards. Personally, I haven't come across any problem, and the Search tool works fine for me. However, in case you do, there are many sets that you can safely delete, e.g. Masters Editions (ME1 through ME4) since those are digital-only. If your MWS works fine, there's no need for you to take any action.

The standard gatherer extracter does not read assassin's creed, but I was able to get txt files and images by adding a new, self contained assassin's creed set to the gatherer extracter.
I hope this will be helpful if a similar case occurs in the future.

I wanted to ask about the frequency of the Masterbase updates, mainly because the last time I checked was months ago, and the database was still up to Streets of New Capenna. Just as a reference point there have been 10 sets released in just blocks alone (not counting core sets).

Hey there, here are the patches for Bloomburrow.
Extras and reprints that are not part of the main set were removed.
When I tried to add "Flubs, the Fool" to a deck, it wouldn't show the picture for some reason. I got it working now, but it was weird. If you come across any issue, please let us know.

Hello! Arcanis has been away for a long time. We have kept the DB up to date using txt patches. I'm thinking of creating another masterbase, but that will be done when I got the time.MikeEnriq111 wrote:Arcanis,

Could you please post the link for the main updated folder? The arcanisomnipotent link is dead. I searched everywhere, but couldn't find it.
I've also searched for austeregrim super LQ index, but the site seems dead. The 91 gb collection you propose is just too big for me. Each PNG has 1.2 MB. I prefer 30 MB for each set, in average, 52 MB for the largest ones. Pics at 132- 192 kb are good for me.
I used to draw pics from coolstuffinc. until they start to post 8-32 kb images,which are crap, almost unreadable on a screen.
I also love cards flavor text, because they put samples of the most various things, from classical litherature to MTG lore, and it can change from one card edition to another. The only programs I know so far to include the flavor text in cards script data (not just the pics) are bugko and Magic Workstation. But bugko has no PC version and MW seems dead since 2017. Where can I find an updated post? Magarena is dead, too, since 2022. Forge is awesome, I love its campaign, its database, that dwarves any other TCG, including YGO (80000+ cards!, which 32000+ different), its 420+ decks collection, and it's also light and free, and works offline! The only problems are, its database seems incomplete (can't find complete un-sets, for example), and the deck editor is hard to use, because it has no ability/keyword filters, the same problem of YGO online games oose deck editors sucks because the lack of filters for specific effects or abilities, despite cards having those keyword ícons, like they have in Legacy of the Duelist. I think MTG Arena has the same problem, and it's also hard to get new cards -- Master Duel is way better in that point -- it has various game modes, and multiple ways of getting more gems. Arena should have more game modes.

Does anyone know how to be able to use the basics in sets that you manually patch in?
They appear in Workstation in the list, but when you add them to decks, then they will give error messages, and you won't be able to use them in MWSPlay.
Is there a trick or workaround?

I tested basics from OTJ and they work fine. I included screenshots showing I got no issues adding or using them.

I problem-solved this. When the text spoiler used to add the new set refers to the basics as "Plains (1)", "Plains (2)," etc., I get this problem. If I go into the text spoiler file and delete the "(1)" and "(2)" etc, so that the text spoiler just says "Plains" for all 4 arts, then add the set from there, MWS auto-assigns the numbering and there is no issue.pangolinz wrote:Hello Protoman.Protoman wrote:Does anyone know how to be able to use the basics in sets that you manually patch in?

I'm glad to hear you found the source of the problem. I tend to preserve basics numbering, like Island (1), Island (2), etc. because that way every basic artwork can be added to the collection, by naming them Island1.full, Island2.full, etc..Protoman wrote:I problem-solved this.
