Vista 64x problem with new Masterbase

so my brother is running MWS in Windows Vista 64-bit Intel Core2 Duo CPU T6400@ 2.00GHz 2.00GHz with 4 gigs of ram. when he installs the new Mahamoti D masterbase, the sets "Conflux" and "Jace vs. Chandra" appear in the filters checklist but there are no cards for them in the card list beneath.

is there any way to fix this? he overwrote the data folder and the Masterbase when installing Mahamoti D's base. the Main filter is set to "All."

would that matter, though, if he had uninstalled and reinstalled MWS and the masterbase multiple times?

I dunno, just grasping at straws. There's also that UAC thing that causes problems though I don't think that would affect only a couple of sets.

it's an epically dumb thing that's going on here, so literally ANYTHING you can think of would be helpful....or at least worth a shot.

It's User Account Control. Either install MWS to someplace besides Program Files, or right click the MWS folder and elevate the permissions. I don't know exactly where you drill down to to access the settings but you'll find it. There's also info on it at the other forum somewhere.
