My MWSHQ Set Codes.txt is from October 25, 2007

Is there are more current one?

It'll be handy as I'm in the process of writing a MWS deck conversion utility.

I had one in progress for the new torrent but I'm not sure where it is right now. Maybe Nyth has one. Have you tried the list here http://www.slightlymagic.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4658#p4658?

A deck converter would be sweet. So would a theme converter.

<edit> I realized you probably need a list of the three letter codes too...

Thanks for the responses, very handy. The utility I'm writing is to convert net decks (from forums, etc.) to MWS format, mostly putting a valid set-edition into the card line. Apparently MWS does have some from of Import, but I've only ever had bad experiences of it. This should mean I'm able to scrape a number of variants of classic decks in super-quick time then make them available for download. When they're done, I'll drop a note in the Decks forum. I'll release the utility too when it's done.

If by deck-converter you meant from the old to the new codes (and back again), I think that'd be relatively easy, I'll knock one up.

I've already got one to convert from old to new codes and vice versa as well as doing the same for picture folders. This is a future feature that we are considering with regards to making everything 3 letters.

But what you're doing sounds perfect! It would basically mean that we wouldn't have to recreate decks in MWS every time we see something that we like. For the purposes of your project, keep using the old 1/2/3 letter codes.
