Collectible Card Game Headquarters

The title says it all really. I'd like to play across the internet with my son. I guess the host needs to forward the ports that manalink uses on the router to the PC that is running MTG. Despite searching high and low (maybe I am just bad at it). I could not find this information. Can anyone help?

Thanks for your reply, I guess that is always a fall back. I would prefer just to open up my router than mess around with proxy software to be honest. Hopefully someone here knows the magic numbers.
