Collectible Card Game Headquarters

I get disconnected what seems to be unusually frequent amount of times. Is there some way to stop this, it gets very frustrating to see the player lost or session lost during jus about every game I attempt to play.

that's a MWS problem, nothing to do with the database. We get it too.

In this forum, Huggybaby linked to an article that covers several sources for those disconnection which seem random at first look.
In case that doesnt help, check if your opponent just left (i've regulary see that on the public mwsgames.net servers or mwsplay.net ), if that's true, I'd suggest playing with people you know or looking for an organized platform for online play (several online leagues like www.magic-league.com exist)
