why not incorporate a web based chat on the site?
or maybe a meeboo chat room and just a big link to chat in here?

would be nice to have another type of contacts with members besides the forum threads, and maybe more informal, also good to arrange online games and stuff

just an idea ;)

What's wrong with an IRC channel (or is "meeboo" an IRC network)?

I didnt realize slightlymagic had an irc channel? Also I've seen other sites incorperate web based irc client links such as www.mibbit.com into there site. That may be a possibility.

i suggested meebo, because is an easy to set chat, and dont require any coding more that an hiperlink to use it .)

or even just create a slightymagic facebook group, and chat in there, would be great too

The mibbit client is just a webclient that you can generate the url link the first time from there site and as as a url link to your site. No real coding required. Not pushing for it just saying how it works. Is there a facebook page for slightlymagic made yet? That would be a good idea in my mind.

It doesn't, as far as I know*. I was just wondering why use something like "meeboo" instead of good old IRC.

*Actually, Incantus does have an IRC channel: #incantus on EFNet, but I can't really recommend EFNet for a slightlymagic channel since it limits nicknames to 9 characters and lacks service bots.
