Let me be the first to say THANKS!

Will be a bit before I can try it, I'm blessed with work today.

Downloaded & installed it, works great and looks awesome :)
How do you get card pictures though (is there some kind of pack you can download?), and is there a port planned for the DS as well [-o< ?

Thanks :D
For the pictures it's not as easy as for MTGForge. people kindly host the sets on mediaupload and things like this, links can be found at http://wololo.net/forum or here: viewtopic.php?f=47&t=854

Regarding the DS version, I'm considering it more and more seriously since lots of people ask, but that would be a huge work since the interface would have to change completely (not to mention the Graphical library that would need to be rewritten from scratch). I'm also afraid that the small screens of the DS will be an issue...

On the flip side, the twin screens means you could have (for example) your cards on the bottom screen and the opponent's cards on the top screen.

And zooming in on a card could display the name and artwork on the top and the text (scrollable, even, if it was long enough) on the bottom.

But yeah, rewriting everything is a pain.

Thanks for the links, I'll download 'em all!

Yes, porting to DS would undoubtedly involve a lot of work. But it would be great too (much like adding test functionality into MTGForge ;) )!
The PSP has a resolution of 480 x 272, and the DS has two separate screens of 256 x 192, which equals a lot fewer pixels on the DS.

Even though the DS lends itself pretty good for dividing both player zones between different screens like MageKing said, I think the main problem would be displaying the card art image, there's just not enough space. Maybe selecting a card and pressing a certain key could show the full picture flipped horizontally in one of the screens.

Two screens of 256x192 gives you a total space of 256x384. The card images that we get from the WotC site are 200x285. Sounds to me like they'll fit just fine.

Yeah, but it'd be the ONLY thing you could show.

I've just learned that those "flash cart" thingies that allow to run homebrew on the nintendo DS have been made illegal since last month in the country I live in.
They're nowhere to be found

Oh man, that's a bummer :(
I'll probably just buy a PSP, Wagic looks like a lot of fun :) PSPs are like what, $100 or so these days?

Yeah, it's not too expensive anymore. Be careful to buy a "hackable" one though (ask around), because Wagic does not run on official sony firmware. The best is probably to buy it second hand and ask the seller to test.
