AI DragonRoost & Fire deck

Postby Chris H. » 26 Feb 2009, 19:38

This deck has been created for the computer's AI to use against a human opponent. This deck only contains basic lands. Several additional sources of non land based mana have been added.

This deck is a major modification of the fun deck that Gando created, BurningDragons. The computer will play the two plains on I believe the 2nd and 4th turns. This will help to power the Lightning Helix and the Invincible Hymn spells.

The are no cards that will cause the computer to shuffle it's deck and as such it should be able to generate the mana needed for the many dragons in this deck. There are no Pump dragons included, the computer has a tendency to pump it's pump type creatures to poor effect. As such, there are no Shivan Dragon.

This deck seems to function fairly well. The Flamebreak, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Helix and Volcanic Hammer spells are cheap and they help to remove the smaller creatures that the Human can cast. I included 4 Tarox Bladewing for Gando, I'm sure that he would agree with this.

And thank you, Dennis for the Crucible of Fire.

Enjoy.
