thoughts:
I played my dragon rebs decks a bit and realized I was never drawing more than 2 lands. Ever. With 20 lands +5 moxen in a 64 deck I think the expected average draw is 3-4 lands after a turn. Only 30% of the games was I finding a hand that was playable. I think this is what JPB was saying wasn't fun about it (he didn't specify further except to say it was "slow". When I built this deck I didn't find it slow or mana deficient but well thats why we have others to test them for us. :D

One of the solutions was to change the mana base to more white centric and add in green for Birds of Paradise. This is supposed to give a better chance at a playable starting hand. It seems like this is the case though I am not a fan of the comes into play tapped lands all that much lol. The Tithes should also help. I thought about Land Tax but realized Tithe was really more to the point if I added a lot of plains dual lands.

Anyway next was to put the rebs base in and then dragons and then some toolbox critters that could be useful. The thing this deck really needs is a way to bounce critters on occasion and a way to disenchant with comes into play creatures. I could add Uktabi Orangutan but that leaves the enchantment angle untaken care of. We need Cloudchaser Eagles people. :D

Urborg Syphon Mage is a funky touch if things get hairy. and we have the Squee Syphon Mage combo if that gets going :D As I said above though it isn't necessarily a better deck. (60 cards would be more ideal but it seems I can't build this deck with just 60 cards. :P)
