5 Colour Hall Of Fame

Postby Arcanis222 » 27 May 2009, 17:47

This is a deck i built on a whim, i wanted to make a ridiculously powerful 5 colour deck, noticed we have no green land fetching or boosting spells really, So instead i decided to just abuse lands.
First the manabase as it's the most difficult part of using this deck.
Lands -
2 - Tropical Island
2 - Savannah
2 - Scrubland
2 - Tundra
2 - Taiga
2 - Plateau
2 - Bayou
2 - Volcanic Island
2 - Underground Sea
2 - Badlands
2 - Seaside Citadel
2 - Crumbling Necropolis

Creatures/Spells -
3 - Woolly Thoctar
4 - Broodmate Dragon
4 - Fusion Elemental
4 - Wall Of Denial
3 - Ancestral Recall
4 - Terminate
3 - Child of Alara
3 - Doran, The Siege Tower
3 - Rafiq Of the Many
2 - Oros, The Avenger
3 - Niv-Mizzet, The FIremind

It's a deck that abuses efficent lands, And Uses efficent removal and card drawing (Terminate and Ancestral Recall) To draw into ridiculously Overpowered multicolour Threats (Fusion Elemental, Woolly Thoctar, Rafiq Of the Many) Etc. It's very efficent, and one of the most powerful i've made on Mtgforge, You've pretty much won as long as you get a Thoctar, Doran, Or Wall of Denial Down Early Game. Have fun.

Here is the deck file so the rest of you can try this deck.
I manually selected all the cards while switching between this page and the game, not really a hobby of mine though.

Anyway, it is a fun deck, even if my first Woolly Thoctar got Crib Swap ped away from me. :x
I still won the game by pounding my opponent with that cute little guy, the Fusion Elemental. He even was 9/9 thanks to Rafiq Of the Many so he made short work of any critter compy threw at me.
Although, a Stuffy Doll would have been a problem since I never got a flyer in play. :?

Thanks Arcanis222 for this crazy contraption!

I too, would like to thank you for your deck ideas. People sometimes have a way of coming up with different ideas for decks. :D

BTW, when you are in the deck editor you will notice that one of the options in the "Deck Actions" menu is labeled "Export Deck". This will give you two files on your computer. A .deck file which you can attach to their message that the rest of us can download and import into forge. The second file is a text file that lists the cards in your deck. This second file can be copied and then pasted into your message - it should save you a wee bit of work.
