This deck is all about the keyword "Persist" and all aspects regarding it.
The best way to play this deck is to use your first creatures as blockers, as the persist ability will bring them back leaving your opponent defenseless while you have still have a force to be reckoned with.
Things start to be interesting once you get the Heartmender card out. This will ensure that all you Persist creatures will come back each and everytime they are dealt lethal damage.
Then to finish it off, use Wrath of God + Persist + Heartmender for the win. No monsters for your opponents while you still got lots of them is nasty.
Other Deck Combos:
Skullmulcher (w/ Devour) + Persist = Your Skullmulcher will easily become a powerhouse, and in return you don't lose any creatures at all.
Kitchen Finks + Heartmender = A very cheap way to gain 2 life over and over again.
