Battle of Wits is an interesting card to insert into decks like these. Problem is, how can we draw that card, without relying on pure luck

Well, the deck has one Demonic Tutor
I would also take out the Tortuga, since it's not a real card.

You are right that the Tortuga could be cut but the idea of the deck is to play with all the giant cool things in magic not to just win. I just want every game to be different and Invincible Hymn is awesome.

For we consistency junkies (aka I like getting one of the 2-5 strategies to win in the first draw or two) that deck is an anathema. Very interesting, and fun for those who want neat cards in the deck and don't care about percentages per draw. But I'd be ready to shoot myself.

True, with only a 7 out of 374 chance of drawing it first round.

Tortuga? 5x Nevinyrral's Disk? 2x Ancestral Recall? I understand the mana acceleration numbers, and the aforementioned are quite sane in a 530 card deck, but isn't the point to avoid repetition?

You cannot have more than 4 copies of a card in your deck. (Relentless Rats being the exception that proves the rule)
But adding 15 of the same dual land? That is just silly!
This deck breaks/bends the rules too far to be fun for me.
