1994 World Champion tribute

Postby slapshot5 » 06 Nov 2010, 02:25

The following deck has been submitted for your approval.

This deck is the self-described "final version" of the deck that won the first M:TG world championships in 1994 in Milwaukee.

From Zak Dolan:
Although I stopped playing competitively when I sold my cards to a dealer in 1998, I kept an eye on the new cards until 2005, checking if any cards would be ones that I would want to put into my deck. I'm not up to date on cards after 2005, so nothing after Urza's Cycle is included. The final version of my 1994 Gen-Con deck is as follows,
60 Total Cards

6 Creatures
-------------
1x Birds of Paradise
4x Serra Angel
1x Time Elemental

39 Spells
----------
1x Ancestral Recall
1x Armageddon
1x Balance
1x Black Lotus
1x Black Vise
1x Candelabra of Tawnos
2x Disenchant

1x Kismet
1x Land Equilibrium

I could never sell my cards. The guy must have made a bundle on his collection considering their history.
