if Mind Rot becomes more copies of Despise/Ostracize I think we can venture replacing Hunted Troll with Tempting Wurm.
Since you've included Moxen and Duals I guess it should be tier 3. Some suggestions to raise the power level:
Yavimaya Granger -> Borderland Ranger (To make sure to drop a Wumpus or Iwamori on turn 4)
Reckless Spite, Raking Canopy -> Putrefy / Maelstrom Pulse (just generally more useful)

EDIT: This might become my favorite opponent. :D

Has anyone objections to this becoming Silver Surfer 3?

I think that this may be OK as a Jack Sparrow 1 deck:

Jack Sparrow 1 | Open
Jack Sparrow 1
[general]
constructed
[main]
1 Cloud Pirates
1 Water Wurm
1 Caller of Gales
1 Sea's Claim
1 Fear
1 Expedition Map
1 Talas Merchant
1 Talas Scout
1 School of Piranha
1 Drowned
1 Spreading Seas
1 Lingering Mirage
1 Cruel Edict
1 Rishadan Airship
1 Steam Frigate
1 Reef Pirates
1 Talas Warrior
1 Chambered Nautilus
1 Steam Frigate
1 Seasinger
1 Whispersilk Cloak
1 Scavenged Weaponry
1 Drag Down
1 Forced Retreat
1 Talas Air Ship
1 Screeching Drake
1 Giant Octopus
1 Narwhal
1 Coastal Piracy
2 Armored Galleon
2 Pirate Ship
1 Sandbar Serpent
1 Wu Admiral
1 Ramirez DePietro
11 Island
4 Swamp
2 Drowned Catacomb
3 Underground Sea
2 Watery Grave
2 Polluted Delta
[sideboard]

I am having a tough time deciding if this deck should have 1 or 2 Coastal Piracy. Jack Sparrow 2 has 3 Coastal Piracy.

I believe that the Silver Surfer 3 Green beat down deck was created by Gando. This deck was created back when forge had a little over 1000 cards. There are or were some other decks in the quest mode that were created at about the same time.

These older decks were not too bad given the limited number of cards we had to pick from at that time. Now, with over 8000 cards we should be able to replace these really old decks with something that shows off the newer cards.

The Wolverine 3 Nightmare deck might be a candidate for updating. If not, we can replace it with something else.

BTW: Corwin, I really like that Treats deck. It is nice to see a deck with hunted creatures. :) And the new bug fixed version of Lignify, wow.

Yes, i still remember Gando from the time when I didn't even post, just following the project.

I think I will update it. The idea is fine and there are lots of black cards that care for the number of swamps.

If you still think about making a deck with Hunted Horror and friends, I found a good card to accompany them: Dogged Hunter.

If you do, is it worth adding Ageless Entity ?

It's a nice combo I didn't know about. I only added a single copy of Mayael's Aria, so Ageless Entity won't be worth it. Maybe you can build a combo deck around these two?

The deck Data 3 rivals with Da Vinci 3 for the mono black focused deck and with Wolverine 3 for the Swamp focused deck, but loses at both. Any thoughts what to do with it?

Yeah, a lot of the original quest decks were unfocused and somewhat similar in design. The small card pool was a limiting factor.

One of the decks that we replaced was a very weak fear deck. I think that we may have enough cards in the pool to put together a stronger fear based deck at this time.

Mmh, i'm not concerned about power level, but synergy. I can't think of a way to make a creature with fear more powerful than in a random deck. Facing a mono black or mono brown opponent it's useless.
