This is currently not scriptable (and the responsible part of the code doesn't look easy to modify).Enchanteur wrote:Hello !
I need help.
Can I give a dual reward ?
I would do this :
Card Reward=2 green rares + 2 red rares
Or :
Card Reward=2 green rares
Card Reward=2 red rares
Is there a good syntax to do this ?
Is it possible ?

Hello,
Thk for your reply.
I've another request.
I've made 3 special quests decks.
But before to say all is ok and give you a definitive version, I would to test them.
But I don't know how.
I've try to put it into the quests/decks/ directory with other quests decks.
And give a name quest31.dck.
But the decks don't appear in the list after few games.
How can I be sure to test my deck in quest mode ?
If I test it in constructed, additionnal stuff don't appear, just the deck.
Here one of the deck :
The second one. I really need to test it, i'm not sure Chandra is in play with loyalty counters on it.
And a last one :

Did your quest have the necessary number of wins to unlock them?Enchanteur wrote:Hello,

There is also some randomness involved, so you are not guaranteed to see them.

Yes, I've the good number of wins.
To be sure, i will edit deck and write wins=1
So I should had bad luck on random.
I will remove some specials quests decks, and copy mines, and rename them quest1, quest2, etc, and edit into the .dck id=1, id=2 etc...
So my decks should appear a more number of times.

It's ok now, I can test decks.
There is some problems with IA and 2 or 3 cards, so I will change the decklists.

Is this the correct thread for proposing new special quest decks?
I thought about a deck which has the card ' Possibility Storm ' on the field at the beginning. The whole deck centers around some cards:
Curse of Exhaustion ;the main finisher card
low CMC creatures [Kobolds] which can turn via the storm into high end creatures (the like of the eldrazi)
How does that sound?

I've read about using Zoetic Cavern and Lumithread Field with Eldrazi.Nordos wrote:Is this the correct thread for proposing new special quest decks?

So... Could it be interesting?
I myself imagine it as being fun. When you play against the deck, you may have a chance to get the most powerful cards in your deck onto the battlefield in a quite short game - then again, the same is true for the opponent.
I guess the powerlevel is, depending on the deck the AI uses, between hard and very hard...
(for the case he has an Eldrazi and co in his hand, he could either get looters too or Anvil of Bogardan / Grafted Skullcap )

It could be all colorless with mana ramp artifacts and Eldrazi Temple to be able to hardcast Eldrazi.Nordos wrote:I myself imagine it as being fun. Well, the Kobolds are, more or less, colorless (or to speak, they don't need colored mana).
There was, somewhere, an artifact which gave all your creatures the possibility to produce mana (Springleaf Drum).
Then again, mind this: If you cast an Eldrazi while having a Possibility Storm out, it has a high chance to polymorph into a Kobold or a similar useless creature While when you discard an Eldrazi, they would be shuffled back into the libary, giving you the opportunity to get another one ... That's why I would refrain from making a mana ramp deck around the Possibility Storm quest

Well, i wouldn't put any creatures in the deck but Eldrazi. So when the AI casts Zoetic Cavern or Lumithread Field it will always be a spaghetti monster. When the AI casts Kozilek, Butcher of Truth it will draw 4 cards and then will cast another Eldrazi. Sounds like a good deal.Nordos wrote:Well, the Kobolds are, more or less, colorless (or to speak, they don't need colored mana).

That is, indeed, an interesting idea. I just thought that casting it morphed wouldn't count it as being a creature.
Anway, is there any way to prevent the AI from casting them normally? We do need white mana (IMO) because the deck includes Curse of Exhaustion

haha, true. Then again, it has a different effect on the whole play, because even the spells of the enemy are randomized
One thing: I would include blue for Imaginary Pet and Trusted Advisor. Even when a creature morphes into them, they return to the hand and allow you, for 1-2 mana, to try again morphing an Eldrazi
