This Type 1.0 deck seems to do very well against the gamut. I plan to play each deck in our collection against each other and list the results just for the heck of it.

Ok. Cough it up. Which cards did you add this time?
Because I downloaded it and MTG Forge shows no cards at all and refuses to let me play the deck.
first dual lands and now?
Maybe you should just add the txt file with all the cards, just to bring the rest of us up to speed with you.

Oh, and how can I get the images of the dual lands to load?
The cards work fine but I cannot download the card images via the (top left)menu option.

I havent the foggiest idea why it didnt load...Ill check my cards.txt to find the culprit. As for loading the dual land images try the gatherer portion of the magic site. just find the card in the SPOILER section of the gatherer and then click on it so the popup comes up...save the image as... to your forge folder. Should work.

I think the error is in the Cards.txt...I typoed Scrubland with an s at the end. try editing that and see what happens.

Btw I could have replaced the lookouts with Angels but my thinking was that Id need a discard mechanism and I liked the token creation over the lifedrain of Urborg Syphon Mage. Of course the graveyard reccursion is just one element of the deck and so far Goldmeadow Lookout has not been needed for that purpose.

I copied the decklist into the editor and saved the deck. Now it works.
Why the downloaded deck file does not work? Beats me.

Meanwhile, the reason the cards don't download is because you have to enter them in the file named: "card-pictures.txt" in the game folder.
Manually downloading the images, as you sugguested, also works. although you have to add a "_" (underscore) in the name of the Tropical_Island.jpg for it to show up in the game.

Ok, now then, to finally try this deck of yours...
btw, it's 7:30 am on sunday morning here. And I am solving jpg display issues in a computergame.

Yes I forgot to mention about the underscore. Most of the fixes I have had for a while now so I forget to tell others.

Re: card-pictures.txt, yes technically that is the way to do it except that you need to be sure what the name of the image file on wotc's server is so the best way to do that is to go see for yourself and why not just download it at that point. My thinking anyway.
