Animas Armageddon

This is one of the strongest decks that I have designed. It is based on the "old" Elves/Birds + Mox + Armageddon decks that were popular many years ago. Please note that you will need to install the new cards that were recently released to play this deck.

Ideally, you will want to get some non-land based mana in play before you cast Armageddon. It helps to have one or a few serious attacking/blocking creatures in play before you cast Armageddon. The Watchwolf, Woolly Thoctar and Cloudcrown Oak are your cheapest attacking/blocking creatures.

Later in the game you may get a chance to use your Bird/Druid/Magus to pump up a Llanowar Behemoth. A lot of fun! The Viashivan Dragon and the Volcanic Dragon can be fun but games usually tend to end before you get to them.

I once had a game where I was able to get a Woolly Thoctar into play on my first turn! I thought it was "game over dude" for the computer. The computer put a Plains into play and cast a Swords to Plowshares on it's first turn. I was heart broken.

The one-ofs add variety but are imho a mistake. You get a good idea don't dilute it with 1x cards. Try and stick to as many 4x as you can manage. The exception is if you are running a lot of recursion and or fetch
