Kill and Control

Kill and Control

This is an old time sort of deck theme. Those who have been playing mtg-forge for a long time have most likely experienced the sort of situations that can occur when playing this type of deck.

Cards that have a special ability may not always work the way you would expect after you have taken control of the card in question. Sometimes it works just the way you would like. Take Possession does work with a planeswalker being the target. Sweet.

60 Total Cards

This deck has been modified for the computer's AI to use against a human opponent. The non-basic lands have been replaced with basic lands. Several additional sources of non land based mana have been added.

Made my own blue control deck for the AI. Its tough if it gets the right draw.

60 Total Cards

16 Creatures
-------------
4x Floating-Dream Zubera
4x Man-o'-War
2x Memnarch
2x Mulldrifter
4x Sower of Temptation

27 Spells
----------
1x Ancestral Recall
4x Brainstorm
3x Bribery
2x Concentrate
4x Control Magic
1x Mox Sapphire
4x Psionic Blast
4x Repulse
4x Sky Diamond

17 Land
--------
17x Island

Generally speaking the AI seems to understand tempo (I realize this is an illusion) better than control but it does play the control cards somewhat intelligently. This deck could be fairly frustrating though I find I can beat it 2-1 usually.
